About the Editor

Cato's vice president for academic affairs James A. Dorn is the editor of the Cato Journal. From 1984 to 1990, he served on the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars. He has edited 10 books and his articles have appeared in numerous publications. Dorn holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Virginia.
