Kindly Inquisitors

The New Attacks on Free Thought

Available formats

2 disc audiobook set.

Kindly Inquisitors has challenged readers for more than 20 years with its provocative exploration of the issues surrounding attempts to limit free speech. This newly expanded audiobook edition, with a foreword by George F. Will, illustrates the book's continued and growing relevance. The answer to bias and prejudice, Rauch argues, is pluralism—not purism. Rather than attempting to legislate bias and prejudice out of existence, we must pit bias and prejudice against one another to foster a more fruitful discussion, which will help us to replace hate with knowledge.
